6.2.13. - Page 26 <br />documentation for tests, and procedures for dealing with failures during test. Provide three copies <br />of checklists which detail tests for every functional requirement, specified supplies/spare parts, <br />training, operating, and maintenance manuals and provide space for sign -offs by City <br />Representative. <br />3.3 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br />A. Contractor shall: <br />1. Assume care, custody and control of all PARCS equipment and components. <br />2. Replace damaged materials at no cost to City. <br />3. Deliver equipment to site packaged to prevent damage and marked for easy identification. <br />4. Store equipment in original containers in clean, dry location designated by City and agreed to <br />by Contractor. <br />B. City shall: <br />1. Provide secure storage in one of the garages for storage of spare parts for use by Contractor's <br />technicians. <br />3.4 PROJECT SITE CONDITIONS <br />PARCS components shall operate dependably within environmental conditions indigenous to installed <br />site location as described herein. Components located In a 24-hour climate controlled office shall be <br />capable of normal performance in a business environment. Outdoor equipment shall be capable of <br />operating In temperature and weather extremes and marine environment in Redwood City, California. <br />3.5 INSTALLATION OF PARCS <br />A. Contractor shall: <br />1. Contractor shall coordinate demolition, installation and testing of PARCS and related <br />equipment/work with the City, ensuring that planned work does not significantly impact <br />parking operations or special events. <br />2. Disconnect and remove existing equipment. <br />3. Clean site daily. <br />4. Install PARC system in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and approved Shop <br />Drawings. Well -coordinated and controlled installation of PARC system is essential to this <br />contract. Disruption or delay of the work of others during installation shall be minimized. <br />Therefore all equipment shall be ready for rapid, coordinated installation. <br />I. Entry Lanes <br />1. Remove and dispose existing ticket dispensers and barrier gates. <br />2. Install new ticket dispenser and barrier gate. Use 3 % X %" wedge anchors <br />for the lane devices <br />3. Disconnect and dispose existing interconnect conductor cabling. <br />4. Saw cut new loops, install new loop wire and seal <br />5. Provide, pull and terminate (1j 12 conductor cable, 20 AWG, as per S&B <br />specification from the ticket dispenser to the barrier gate. <br />5. Remove and dispose of all demolished material and cabling. <br />ii. Exit Lanes <br />1. Remove and dispose the existing barrier gate and ticket acceptor. <br />2. Install new barrier gate and exit verifier. Use 3 % X %" wedge anchors for <br />the lane devices. <br />3.
