6.2.13. - Page 52 <br />Maintenance Responsibilities <br />Preventative Maintenance Services <br />Contractor will provide 4 preventative maintenance cycles per year. Each quarter <br />Scheidt & Bachmann will perform extensive preventative maintenance and inspection of <br />all the Parking Access and Revenue Control equipment. The maintenance procedures <br />include - but are not limited to - the cleaning, adjustment, and testing of all system <br />components utilizing established factory procedures and specifications to insure <br />consistent, uninterrupted system operations. <br />Once traffic flow and cyclical usage has been established, S&B will meet with the City <br />representatives to make recommendations to adjust the PM schedule to perform PM's <br />more frequently on "high -use" lanes and/or Pay Stations. Alternately, some devices <br />with very low usage may not need as much PM servicing. (This adjustment will be <br />included at no charge to the City). <br />The overall responsibility rests with Scheidt & Bachmann in the following terms: <br />Scheidt & Bachmann will provide training to the Redwood City personnel so that they <br />may provide the "First Line Maintenance" as discussed below. Scheidt & Bachmann's <br />own factory trained team of technicians will also provide maintenance services and <br />support on all S&B Equipment. <br />In addition to this, Scheidt & Bachmann will assume the responsibility to organize, <br />schedule and supervise all maintenance from its third party subcontractors and <br />suppliers as needed. <br />Based upon the training provided by Scheidt & Bachmann, the Redwood City personnel <br />will be responsible for "First Line" maintenance. "First Line" maintenance is defined and <br />outlined in the following paragraphs (Note: This includes all Field Level Devices such as <br />Ticket Dispensers, Exit Verifiers, Barrier Gates, RFID Readers, Pay On l=oot (POF) <br />Stations and Cashier Terminals): <br />• General Training on Equipment Description and Principles of Operation <br />• General Maintenance (Includes all standard maintenance that can be performed <br />using no special tools as follows :) <br />REV: 09-10-15 VR <br />Page 49 of 61 <br />ATfY/AGR.2015.217/Scheidt & Bachmann LSSA, Inc.
