7.A. - Page 4
with Stanford University (departments, students) on all issues and coordinating joint
study sessions with the Planning Commission on housing related topics. This goal is
has a one year and ongoing completion timeline.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could provide alterative or additional direction on the work plan goals,
projects and priorities.
FISCAL IMPACT
Staff time will be required to administer the work plan and to help the HHCC to achieve
work plan strategies; this can be accommodated within the FY 2018-19 budget. In future
years, aid from consultants may be required. Such assistance will be considered on a
year -by -year basis.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
Approval of the HHCC Work Plan is not a project within the meaning of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because the Work Plan is an organizational or
administrative activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the
environment (CEQA Guidelines Section 15378(b)(5)). Even if approval of the Work Plan
were a project, it would be exempt from CEQA because it can be seen with certainty
that there is no possibility that the guidelines will have a significant effect on the
environment (CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3)).
RHONDA L.
