10.A. - Page 4 <br />The proposed amendments include revisions throughout the Charter to modernize the <br />language of the Charter by replacing gendered language with neutral language, <br />standardizing capitalization and making other conforming, non -substantive edits. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Do not adopt the attached resolution submitting to the voters the proposed <br />Charter amendments; <br />2. Make other changes to the proposed resolution and Charter amendments. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The cost of placing the Charter amendments on the ballot is estimated at $30,000.
