We <br />were very saddened when recently a 1925 home on Hopkins was demolished a few weeks ago. <br />We were are also wondering if the homes considered could be extended to those built in the 1940's <br />as we live in a very charming home built in 1940. Our house has it's original footprint and retains so <br />much of the charming original character of the original home. We have gone to great lengths to try to <br />maintain the character of this home as it seems like such a gem along with many of the other homes <br />in our area. <br />As a secondary consideration we have also noticed that in our area there are many other nice homes <br />built in the 1940's even a few streets beyond Myrtle. So we were also wondering if the historic district <br />might be expanded one or two streets beyond Myrtle as well? <br />Thank you for the wonderful job and service that you are providing to our Mt Carmel residents. We <br />noticed there are so few enclaves of historic nature left in the Bay Area.
