REVISED SCOPE OF WORK The Proposed Scope of Services outlined in section 2 of our September 20, 2005 Contract Exhibit "A" is repeated below, with revisions necessary to convert the Stanford Medical Outpatient Center Project CEOA document from the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) format envisioned at the time to a limited scope Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) format. TASK 1. INITIAL SCOPING AND PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1.1 Initial Staff Meeting (completed) 1.2 Project Description (90% completed) 1.3 Jurisdictional Approvals (completed) TASK 2. DESCRIPTION OF SETTING, POTENTIAL IMPACTS, AND MITIGATIONS Note: All environmental topics included in the CEQA Guidelines recommended Initial Study checklist are listed below. Those impact categories that the November 21, 2005 Administrative Draft Initial Study Checklist indicates will require emphasis, discussion, and possible supplemental mitigation are indicated with a "focus topic" notation. The status (percent complete) of CEQA consultant work to date on each "focus topic" is also indicated. The SEIR will include individual chapters on all "focus topics. " 2.1 Aesthetics (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.2 Agricultural Resources 2.3 Air Quality (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.4 Biological Resources 2.5 Cultural Resources 2.6 Geology and Soils 2.7 Hazards and Hazardous Materials (focus topic) (60% complete) 2.8 Hydrology and Water Quality (focus topic) (60% complete) 2.9 Land Use and Planning (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.10 Mineral Resources 2.11 Noise (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.12 Population and Housing (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.13 Public Services (focus topic) (20% complete) 2.14 Recreation 2.15 Transportation/Traffic/Parking (focus topic) (60% complete) 2.16 Utilities and Service Systems (focus topic) (20% complete) Note: At this point in the original (September 20, 2005 Contract Exhibit "A") sequence of tasks, a determination was made to convert the CEQA approach (format) from MND to limited scope SEIR (based on transportation evaluation findings).
