NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: The City of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City are added ats Parties to the MOU. 2. Section 3 of the MOU is amended to extend the date of termination to two (2) years from execution of Amendment No. 1. 3. Section 5 of the MOU is amended to expand the scope of work to be performed as described in Attachment A to this Amendment No. 1. 4. Section 8 of the MOU is amended to add the following: California Water Service Company contributed an additional $8,000 for Task Order Amendment No. 1 to the consultant agreement for PREP Phase 1 study work as described in Section 5 of the MOU. The total project cost not -to -exceed was thus amended to $64,000 for PREP Phase 1 study. The Parties agree that the total member agency financial contribution toward the preparation of the PREP Phase 2 study shall not exceed $160,000. The cost of the PREP Phase 2 will be shared among the Parties as follows, reflecting a 50% cost share for the wastewater agencies and a 50% cost share for the water agencies: Wastewater Agencies • Silicon Valley Clean Water— 25% of actual cost, not to exceed $40,000 • City of San Mateo — 25% of actual cost, not to exceed $40,000 Water Agencies • Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency: $10,000 • California Water Service Company: $10,000 • City of Redwood City: $10,000 • San Francisco Public Utilities Commission — remainder of water agency total up to actual cost, not to exceed $50,000 Any funds disbursed but not used toward the Phase 2 study will be reimbursed to reflect the 50:50 share between the wastewater and water agencies. Any reimbursements due to water agencies will be distributed to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
