<br /> 6.3A <br /> Page 3 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY. <br /> OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE <br /> THEREOF <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br />described as one 1987 Pierce Arrow Fire Engine, and more fully described on <br />Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not <br />needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be <br />declared surplus; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Government Code Section 37351 and Section 3-1/2 of <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City as amended, permits the sale of any City <br />property having an appraised value of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) or more <br />through pubic notice or public bid for not less than 90% of the appraised value; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, Attached hereto is exhibit "A" describing the surplus fire <br />engine. It has been appraised at a value of more than Five Thousand Dollars <br />($5,000). This piece of surplus property was originally purchased and put into <br />the fire service in 1987.
