THIS - EASE, by and between the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE, hereinafter called Lessor, and Redwood <br />City Red, Agency, hereinafter called the lessee. whose address is 10.17 Middlefield Rc;;ad Redwood City <br />CA 9406>1993, to use and occupy the property hereinafterdesclibed under the terms and subject to the condiUons <br />contained herein, . <br /><" <br /> <br />.. . <br /> <br />2. The Pc.stal SelVice may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving 180 days prior written notice to the Lessee. <br /> <br />5. The lessee shall pay the Lessor an annual rent of <br /> <br />In lieu of payment, the lessee will maintain the area in an acceptable manner after it performs the demolition and renovation <br />in accordance with the attached exhibits. Throughout the demolition and renovation work, and throughout the Lease term <br />and any extension thereof, the Lessee shall comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations, inclnding but not limited <br />to, Davis-Bacon and requirements for payment and performa~ce bonds (naming the Lessor as co-obligee on such bonds). <br />The Lessee shall not permit any lien, charge or liability of any'kind whatsoever to attach against the premises or the Lessee's <br />leasehold interest therein. Throughout the demolition and renovation, and throughout the term of the lease and any <br />extension thereof, the Lessee shall, at its sole cost and expense, maintain the leased premises in an acceptable condition and <br />manner. <br /> <br />6.
