6.1.F. - Page 2
dedication of a public service easement to allow for an existing utility structure to remain
in place. All other existing easements will be maintained.
No development is proposed at this time, and the lot merger will bring the site into
compliance with Redwood City Ordinances and previously approved conditions of
approval by removing existing parcel lines underneath the existing building. As no
improvements were required, no agreements are associated with the Parcel Map and
no bonds are required to be posted.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may choose not to approve the Parcel Map for the site.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the City as a result of this action.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
As stated in the report to the Subdivision Committee provided in Attachment 2, the
proposed activity is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 15061(b)(3) because the project has no potential for causing a significant effect
on the environment.
KEVIN FEHR
SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER
AARON AKNIN
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER /COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
