This additional work is expected to sufficiently respond to the <br />requests for additional Project analysis. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve Amendment No. 1 and direct staff to develop new <br />proposals. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The original agreement with ESA was in the amount of $337,010, and Amendment No. <br />1 is a not -to -exceed amount of $72,980 for a total aggregate of $409,990. This is a cost <br />recovery project. The costs associated with the original agreement and Amendment No. <br />1 will be paid by the project applicant. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The requested action is not a project under CEQA. As described above, an EIR will be <br />prepared consistent with CEQA. A Notice of Preparation informing the public that an <br />EIR would be prepared and requesting comment on the scope of environmental <br />analysis was released for a 30 -day period beginning on January 12, 2018 through <br />February 12, 2018.
