6.3.C. - Page 1 REPORT To the Honorable Mayor and City Council From the City Manager August 27, 2018 SUBJECT Joint Resolution with Port of Redwood City Regarding a Contribution by the City of Redwood City to the Port of Redwood City to Fund Infrastructure Improvements at the Redwood City Municipal Marina and Authorization of Increased Funding for Relocation Services RECOMMENDATION 1. Adopt a Joint Resolution of the City Council of the City of Redwood City and the Board of Port Commissioners of the Port of Redwood City for a Contribution by the City of Redwood City to the Port of Redwood City to Fund Infrastructure Improvements at the Redwood City Municipal Marina, and find that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301 and 15303; and 2. By motion, authorize City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 to the agreement with Overland, Pacific and Cutler (OPC) in the amount of $25,000 for a total contract amount of $421,156, and authorize the City Manager to execute future amendments to the agreement with OPC, as needed, to facilitate completion of the provision of relocation services to Docktown Marina tenants BACKGROUND This report recommends adoption of a Joint Resolution between the City and the Port of Redwood City ("the Port") to fund infrastructure improvements at the Redwood City Municipal Marina ("the Municipal Marina") that will support liveaboard tenants who have relocated from the Docktown Marina to the Municipal Marina and an amendment to the City's agreement with Overland, Pacific & Cutler (OPC) to complete the provision of relocation services to Docktown tenants.
