Most likely I won't be able to make the meeting, but some <br />hecklers may attend. <br />would like to remind Council that when we did our door-to-door canvassing in January, the response <br />was overwhelmingly favorable to parking permits; the *only* opposition my wife and I encountered <br />was from a house with 4 or 5 cars in their driveway. The residents wanted the freedom to park more <br />than 3 additional cars on the street. <br />I quizzed them on what they thought was a fair way to allocate on -street parking, given that there was <br />not enough space for every house to park 4 cars on the street. He couldn't answer, but he still didn't <br />want a parking permit program. <br />I urge Council to approve this permit program as a matter of some urgency, as we will soon have <br />thousands more employees occupying the new Stanford buildings. Without the proposed RPP <br />program, the parking situation will only deteriorate further in our neighborhood. <br />Many thanks, <br />Collin Park, i <br />
