Park and Recreation Commission Page 3 <br /> Minutes of February 22, 2006 <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -City Council Budget Study Session will be held on March 13. <br /> -Commissioner Morton, on behalf of AYSO, thanked Lead Landscape <br /> Gardener Bob Piombo and the Red Morton Parks Crew for the excellent <br /> condition of the Red Morton Park fields last season. He felt it was the best <br /> year of field maintenance he had seen. <br /> -Jan Christensen is the new Redwood City Schools Superintendent and she <br /> will begin on May 1. It was suggested Superintendent Christensen be invited <br /> to a future Commission meeting. <br /> ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH'S AGENDA <br /> -(March) Art & Wine Festival Sub-Committee Report, Update on Synthetic <br /> th <br /> Turf Design (invite user groups to this meeting), 4 of July Participation, <br /> Outline for Project Process <br /> -(April) Presentation regarding creeks, feedback on Veterans Memorial <br /> Complex, Presentation from Custodial Manager Ramon Aguilar <br /> The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br /> at 8:45pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at <br /> the Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
