k. Trees within the planting strip and fences. <br />3. Base map shall be completed in AutoCAD 2009 version (using the City's standard <br />CAD layers) at a scale of V=20'. Text information and other entities shall be <br />readable at this scale when plotted on a plan and profile sheet. Final plotted text <br />height shall be 0.1". <br />a. Survey station shall be at center line of street at 50 feet intervals, 25 feet stations <br />on curves, beginning at centerline of street intersections or manholes as noted <br />on the location map (see attached location map). Indicate the following items: <br />spot elevations at each 50 foot station, center line, lip of gutter or edge of <br />pavement, face of curb at flow line, back of curb, sidewalk, planting strip or <br />landscape area and right-of-way line or property line. <br />b. Base map topographic survey shall extend 25 feet beyond centerline of end <br />manholes and/or shall extend 50 feet beyond street intersections in all possible <br />directions. Please see attached location map for reference. <br />c. Survey stationing 1+00 shall start at centerline of street intersection or centerline <br />of manholes unless otherwise noted. Please see attached location map with <br />notations of recommended starting point of Station. <br />d. Redwood City Datum shall be used in preparing the topographic survey. The <br />City will provide the location of the nearest benchmark if required. Benchmark <br />information used shall be noted on the topographic survey. North American <br />Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) shall be used. <br />e. The Consultant shall request the As-Built/Record Drawings from utility <br />companies (e.g. Comcast, PG&E, AT&T, Pacific Bell, SBSA, MCI, SFPUC, <br />Calwater, RCN, SVCW, etc.) to the selected consultant for inclusion in the survey <br />base map. The City will provide an endorsement letter stating that the Consultant <br />is requesting the information on behalf of the City. <br />f. The City will provide a sample of an approved topographic survey drawing to be <br />used as reference to conform to City requirements. <br />g.
