QUESTIONS REGARDING THE NIB <br />Should discrepancies or omissions be found in this NIB or should there be a need to <br />clarify this NIB, questions regarding this NIB must be put in writing and received by <br />the City contact person identified in Section V.C. — "Contact Person" no later than April <br />3, 2018, at 2:30 P.M. Pacific Time. Inquiries received after the date and time stated <br />will not be accepted. <br />Any interpretations or corrections of the NIB will only be made by an addendum posted <br />online to the City's website. Such addendum shall be considered a part of the NIB and <br />must be signed and submitted with the bid. <br />Oral interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. <br />E. BID SUBMITTAL DEADLINE AND LOCATION <br />Bids are due on or before Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 3:30 P.M. Pacific Time. <br />Bidder shall hand deliver or mail four (4) copies of its bid in sealed envelope(s) to: <br />City of Redwood City <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Sealed bids must bear the Bidder's name and address, and be clearly marked <br />"SEALED BID FOR ASPHALT AGGREGATES MATERIALS DUE 3:30 P.M. <br />PACIFIC TIME, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11, 2018." <br />Late bids will not be considered. <br />F. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS <br />Any Bidder may withdraw his or her bid by written request, addressed to the City <br />contact specified in Section V.C., at any time prior to the Bid Submittal Deadline. <br />G. PRICING <br />Pricing shall remain firm for one year from date of purchase order award. At the end <br />of the initial term and each anniversary date thereafter for the duration of the award, <br />prices may, upon Successful Bidder or City request, be increased or decreased. Any <br />price increases will be tied to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and approved at the <br />discretion of the City. If accepted, the price increase will remain firm throughout the <br />subsequent three-year period. In the event prices are reduced, the reduced price shall <br />apply to all subsequent purchases following the date of the price decrease through to <br />the following award anniversary date.
