EXHIBIT A <br />PUBLIC <br />ALLIES <br />r Everyone Leads <br />2018 - 2019 Policies and Procedures for Direct Supervisors <br />of Public Allies Silicon Valley San Francisco AmeriCorps Members, <br />This set of policies and procedures accompanies the "Agreement" (contract) bchveen Public Allies and <br />Partner Organizations and provides Norther policy and procedmal detail behind the obligations outlined in <br />the contract. You are our partners in developing the uncommon and untapped human assets of our <br />communities, and these policies are designed to ensure the most optimal experience for your oiganizmion <br />and our Members <br />You are responsible for understanding all of the material outlined below. Partner Organization Supervisor Expectations <br />ever the course of the ten month program, Public Allies e))eets direct supnniwm of Public Allies <br />AmeriCot7s Members to act as a partner in developing the leadership assets of the Member, which <br />includes,but is not limited, to the following: <br />A. Provide vour Member a minimum of r o hours after the subtraction of Personal Time Off <br />(1aal )- <br />B. Provide hands-on supervision and coaching foryour Alember in developing baseline <br />professional working skills needed to carry out his/her work. <br />C. Support and challenge your Member in meeting placement objectives and graduation <br />requirements in order to graduate from the program. <br />D. Provide appropriate office space for.your. Member. <br />E. Provide a thorough orientation and any training necessary fir vour Member to provide <br />capacity building services to your organization. <br />F. Complete all evaluations requested by Public Allies. <br />G. Review, provide feedback and approve, your :Member's semi-monthly timesheet and monthly <br />Member Service Reflection online in the Leadership Journal (Public Allies' proprietary <br />database) within 2 business days of the end of the reporting period. <br />11, Communicate any concerns about Member performance to the Member's Program Manager <br />in a timely fashion. <br />1.
