The Union also understands that this
position is only minimally funded by the general fund and that through the Americorps program the City has the
ability to expand services to the Community. The Union concurs with the City's proposal to staff one Human
Services Specialist I position through the Public Allies partnership for an amount not to exceed $15,777.
Thankyou,
Evelyn Gutierrez
Internal Organizer
SEIU Local 521
650-801-3514
From: PRCS-Teri Chin [mailto:TChin@redwoodcity.org]
Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 1:32 PM
To: Evelyn Gutierrez; PRCS-Christopher Beth
Cc: HR -Bob Bell
Subject: RE: Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley Agreement with City of Redwood City
Evelyn —
Attached is the description for the AmeriCorps Worker as submitted to Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley,
the organization responsible for placing the Americorp worker with us.
Teri
Teri Chin
Human Services Manager
City of Redwood City - Fair Oaks Community Center
2600 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063
(650)780-7510 (direct line)
(650)298-8184 (fax)
tchin@redwoodeity.org
From: Evelyn Gutierrez[mailto:Evelyn.Gutierrez@seiu521.org]
Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 12:42 PM
To: PRCS-Christopher Beth
Cc: HR -Bob Bell; PRCS-Teri Chin
Subject: RE: Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley Agreement with City of Redwood City
Chris/Teri,
10/7/2010
