• Familiarize City's designated personnel with the basic and proper operation of the fire <br />alarm panel. <br />• Ensure there are no changes that affect equipment performance. Contractor shall inspect <br />for building modifications, occupancy changes, changes in environmental conditions, <br />device locations, physical obstructions, device orientation, physical damage and degree <br />of cleanliness. <br />Extra Work: <br />Contractor may provide any additional repairs, overhauls, or replacements of fire alarm systems <br />after inspections.. Prior to performing any such additional repairs, overhauls or replacements, <br />Contractor shall submit to City a detailed description of the work determined to be necessary, <br />together with a cost estimate for such work and parts; and obtain written approval from City <br />prior to commencement of work. The parties shall both execute a written change order to this <br />Agreement documenting City's approval and Contractor's price and scope of work. <br />2, Payment Terms. <br />Contractor shall provide the testing and inspection services outlined herein for a flat fee of <br />$14,000.00 per year. The flat fee amount includes labor, expected parts and equipment required <br />to perform the testing and inspections services outlined in Section 1 (Scope of Work). City shall <br />pay Contractor a not -to -exceed amount of $15,000.00 over the term of the Agreement for extra <br />work based on hourly labor, as delineated below, and the cost of parts, as needed. Fees will be <br />billed on a per facility basis upon completion of each inspection and testing, as delineated below, <br />and upon completion of extra work, as needed.
