<br />6.18 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR SERVICE BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />THE REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT for the performance of services ("Agreement"), is made and <br /> <br />entered into on this - day of March 2006 ("Effective Date"), by and between the <br />REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, hereinafter called "RCSD", and the CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, a chartered municipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />hereinafter called "CONTRACTOR". RCSD and CONTRACTOR may be referred to <br /> <br />herein individually as a "Party" or collectively as the "Parties" or the "Parties to this <br /> <br />Agreement." <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. WHEREAS, the RCSD desires to obtain services for after school health and <br /> <br />wellness enrichment activities, recreation, and nutrition programs at John Gill School. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CONTRACTOR desires to provide health and wellness <br /> <br />enrichment activities, recreation, and nutrition programs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals, mutual covenants, <br /> <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, the Parties do agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. SERVICES <br /> <br />The CONTRACTOR agrees to furnish diligently and faithfully, health and wellness <br /> <br />enrichment activities, program evaluation and sustainability planning for John Gill <br /> <br />School. <br /> <br />2. TERM OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Unless this paragraph is subsequently modified by a written amendment to this Agreement, <br />the term of this Agreement shall begin on the Effective Date and terminate at the end of day <br /> <br />on December 31,2006. <br /> <br />Atty/Agr/2006.011 <br />030906 <br /> <br />._,. --.. -"-' <br />
