EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />A. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING / HISTORY: <br />The City requested a proposal for the renovation of the synthetic turf fields located at <br />Hoover Field. This scope of services to be performed by Verde Design, Inc. (Verde <br />Design or Consultant) is limited to the turf areas and currently not to areas beyond the <br />existing turf footprint on the two fields at the site. <br />As the work at the site is more than one acre, while there may be minimal subsurface <br />disturbance, the parties anticipate that each project will qualify for an erosivity waiver. <br />Consultant will act as the Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and file a Notice of Intent <br />(NOI) and the erosivity waivers through the SMARTS website for the two project sites. <br />If the erosivity waivers cannot be filed, a full SWPPP will be prepared by Consultant, <br />and filed through the Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System <br />(SMARTS) website for one or both of project sites as required. C.3 improvements will <br />not be required, as both projects are essentially recarpeting projects. Thus, no <br />biotreatment areas will be included in the project. <br />Surveying services have not been included as part of the project scope at this time as <br />the edges of the field have held consistent and the design can provide prescriptive <br />specifications for field planarity requirements. <br />It is understood that the drainage on the two fields is performing adequately. This shall <br />be confirmed, and can be accomplished through visual confirmation, and if needed, in- <br />field percolation testing of the existing bases below the existing turf product. <br />B. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Verde Design agrees to provide specified services in accordance with the following <br />detailed scope of work, based on the above stated project description: <br />Task 1: Project Start-up / Site Assessment <br />1. Attend one kick-off meeting with City to discuss project, including budget, <br />timeline and parameters. <br />a. Communication of the project issues; <br />b. Setting up the project; <br />c. Developing the project work plan and develop a project schedule; <br />d.
