<br />t <br /> <br />78 <br />Page 16 <br /> <br />DOWNTOWN ,REDWOOD CITY <br />A Parking Managèment Proposal <br /> <br />Department of Motor Vehicles Report <br />For positions that require driving, a .Department of Motor <br />Vehicles Rap.art is obtained to ensure the applicant hasàn <br />acceptable driving reCOrd based on the ,ABM industries point <br />system. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) takes approximately 24 <br />hours topr0C6Stt . Applicants who do not meet the ABM <br />standards but pasS the prescreening process may be offered <br />non-driving positiòns. An employee who holds a drMng position <br />but does not maintain ah àcceptable driving récord wifllose their <br />driving privileges with Ampco System Parking. <br /> <br />Upon successful completion of the prescreening process, the <br />job offer is confirmed and all new' hire paperwork is completed. <br />The Human Resources Department then authorizes the unfform <br />company to provide uniforms and schedules the new hire to <br />attend orientation training. <br /> <br />We take our dutjesseriouslyas we know that without providing tf:1e <br />best possible employees, there is no way we can provide the best <br />possible service. <br /> <br />Qualit;v Assurance ProaĆm <br /> <br />There are many aspects of customer service, but ¡tis attained primarily <br />through the provision of a quality. motivated workforce, with proper <br />supervision. That said, the physical conditio.n of the premises also <br />plays into the perception of what makes a 'quality' operation. <br /> <br />We have developed a mechanism which ranks all aspects of the level <br />of quality we provide to our parking patrons, the Quality Assurance <br />Inspection form. The inspection form will reflect the results of <br />unannounced, routine ,inspections of the City's parking facilities <br />perforrnéd by our on-site manager. It is made clear that the results of <br />the inspection will be reviewed with the City's designated parking <br />management personnel.
