This task is not always an easy <br />one, therefore,severalsteps have beenimplel'T1ented to ensure that <br />we employ the best possible candidates for our locations. <br /> <br />A brief description of some of thè most important steps in our extensiVe <br />hiring process is outlined below. <br /> <br />Interview <br />The Human Resources Department personally ÎntervÍ$ws each <br />potential employee to determine specific job interests, <br />schedules and possible work location preferences. Based on <br />the positions available as well as the applicant's particular skills. <br />the human resources representative may tentatively offer a <br />position to an applicant pending the outcome of the remaining <br />prescreeningitems. . <br /> <br />Substance Abuse Scf"ning <br />If the Human Resources representative and the applicant <br />mutually agree to a tentative job offer,. the applicant is sent to a <br />local clinical labfotsubstance abuse testing. The results of this <br />test are forwarded to Ampco System within 24 houts. Failure to <br />pass the required screening will result in an immediate <br />termination of the pre-employment process and the applicant <br />will be notified by mail. <br /> <br />Crimi nalBa ckg ro u ndl nvestig atia n <br />Criminal background investigations are conducted while the <br />Human Resources Department waits for the . results of the <br />substance abuse screening. The investigative bureau advise$ <br />AmpcoSystem if the applicant has any prior criminal <br />convi.ctions. If the applicant passes this portion of the <br />prescreening process, . the Human Resources Department <br />conducts reference checks and verifies previous employment. <br /> <br />Reference .Cheçk <br />The references provided by the applicant are contacted to verify <br />the previous employment information and overal.1 work. <br />performance related to the employment history.
