Since the <br />Findings are based on research conducted by the Grand Jury of San Mateo County of San <br />Mateo County agencies, we did not independently confirm the Findings. However, to respond <br />to your request that we agree with the Findings, we hereby agree with each Finding. <br />Recommendations. <br />The City of San Carlos was asked to respond to one action, which is Recommendation 7 — <br />to hold a public hearing by December 31, 2018 to evaluate issues and hear residents' views <br />on restricting smoking in multiunit housing in ourjurisdiction. The recommendation has not <br />yet been implemented, but will be implemented at a City Council meeting before the end of <br />the year. Currently, the item is scheduled for the Council meeting on October 22, 2018.' <br />The City of San Larios appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Grand Jury report. <br />Best Regards, <br />Bob Grassilli, Mayor <br />
