6.2.A. - Page 3 <br />classifications within comparable agencies, the proposed salary is aligned internally to <br />the Revenue Services Manager. The proposed salary range is $11,089-$13,303/month. <br />Human Resources Manager, Finance Services Manager, Information Technology <br />Manager: To acknowledge the similar level and breadth of professional, technical, and <br />management responsibilities of these classifications within the Administrative Service <br />Department, as well as very similar level of qualifications required to perform in each of <br />these classifications, it is recommended that salary ranges for all three classifications be <br />set the same and initially set equal to the Economic Development Manager position <br />($11,300 to $15,255/month). These positions are included in the executive management <br />group. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may direct staff to conduct further evaluations and recommend <br />alternative class ification(s) or salary changes. The City Council may take no action and <br />advise staff to continue using existing job classifications and salary ranges. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There are no estimated cost increases to the City in Fiscal Year 2018-19, as these <br />changes are included in the FY 2018-19 Adopted Budget. Funding for the CIP Manager <br />position is included in the Capital Fund. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA Guidelines, section <br />15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />LAUREL BLAEMIRE <br />SR.
