Resolution 15034 included a reservation of an easement on behalf of <br />PG&E; that reserved easement is no longer required by PG&E and would not be <br />reserved in the new resolution. A copy of Resolution 15034 is attached to this report <br />(Attachment 5). <br />The City will receive quitclaim deeds for Parcels D and F from the County, will record a <br />certified copy of the new resolution to vacate a portion of Winslow Street, and will <br />provide quitclaim deeds for Parcels A and B to the County. <br />As it relates to the County Center easement exchange, the City will record a certified <br />copy of the resolution vacating easements superseded by relocation and determined to <br />be in excess, and will receive the Storm Drain and Water Line Easement deed from the <br />County. <br />Staff will coordinate with the County on the recording of all documents associated with <br />the exchange and vacation of property interests. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />As it relates to the Winslow Street realignment the City Council may choose not to <br />approve the resolution to carry out the Exchange Agreement, however, this would be <br />contrary to the 2005 Exchange Agreement. <br />As it relates to the County Center easement exchange the City Council may choose not <br />to approve the resolution to accept a Storm Drain and Water Line Easement and <br />summarily vacate easements superseded by relocation or determined to be in excess. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact to the City as a result of this action. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, the City of Redwood City has determined that the actions proposed <br />in this report do not constitute a project as defined by the California Environmental <br />Quality Act, in that it does not have the potential for resulting in either a direct or <br />reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />
