Yes please! Finally! Let's get some enforcement! It would free up parking and ensure <br />that people aren't abandoning vehicles. The argument that this hurts low income is null. All <br />you have to do is move your car every 3 days, how does being low income impact your ability <br />to move your car7 It doesn't! <br />+z 5, 1 strongly agree! I live in a neighborhood where cars sit in front of my house and for <br />weeks until I report it to the police! It's frustrating that my family can't even park in front of my <br />own house because a house doen the street has eight people living in it, and all have cars, and <br />some sit in the same spot for weeks, or their cars don't run! I've called and had cars tagged,you <br />in next thing you see are two guys pushing the car a half a block down, because it doesnt run!! <br />I'm done with disrespectful people abusing the parking spots on the streets. <br />+2 4. Hiring parking enforcement officers will allow the police to deal with more urgent <br />matters. <br />+2 5, 1 support and it's funny how people say in these lower income neighborhoods they <br />cannot afford to take it but they can afford the multiple cars they are driving I personally have <br />seen this or two family members will drive to one location to pick up the one family member <br />after dropping his car off and leaving it for days on end just to return I do the same thing with <br />another vehicle this makes it very difficult for people who live in these areas and pay property <br />taxes to park in front of their homes and are not able to <br />+1 4 - There must be an incentive to build off street parking, and not convert garages into <br />sub -standard housing. City should consider increasing public transportation to <br />neighborhoods that will get increased policing. <br />5 - parking law should <br />be enforced exactly the same independent of income level. <br />Law is <br />law, <br />rules are rules. Need to <br />park couple of blocks away <br />to conform with parking laws? <br />Should <br />do. <br />5. We have had some vehicles parked in the same spot for over 5 years. This can also be funded <br />by AVASA which we all pay for with vehicle registration fees. <br />5. Yes it will more than pay for the program! <br />
