3 another result that we are over crowded! To many freaking over priced apartments forcing <br />multiple families living in 1 home. No one can afford rent let alone a mortgage. Multiple <br />families multiple cars! <br />I think parking officer should be used to check on those streets in the residential areas some <br />people just park there extra car on the curb and leave it there <br />3. One solution would be to fix the housing situation in RWC so that people do not need to <br />double up and triple up in available housing designed for single family use. Increased parking <br />in neighborhoods is a result of housing shortage. <br />3 1 believe that they are already paid for out of the parking revenues and are in the police <br />department. I'm not sure what additional value having dedicated parking enforcement <br />officers would provide might annoy people more than it helps. <br />3 if the neighbors complain do something if not then let it be .... don't fix it unless it's broken <br />and someone gets hurt. <br />3- revenue neutral ??Good luck with that, CaIPERS pension for meter people? NO, just NO!!!! <br />3 Q: are parking operations currently at a deficit? If the purpose of parking enforcement is to <br />encourage alternative transportation and/or encouraging retail foot traffic then profit should <br />not be the foremost concern.
