Conclusion <br />1. The city should follow the objective portion of the TJKM report where the <br />flashing beacons are not justified for the current crosswalk. These are <br />unnecessary and not a valid reason to move the crosswalk <br />2. Let's trim the trees at a reasonable cost to clear some of the obstacles referred <br />to in the report. <br />3. Restripe the lines and add some red curbing in existing location. <br />4. Let's explore, a simple cost-effective "corner bulbout" on one side of <br />Woodstock to clear up the visibility of pedestrians <br />5. Based on the city's own report we are in dire need of money and for the cost of <br />these unnecessary improvements we can fund one full time FTE. Let's not <br />squander the taxpayers money on unwanted, unneeded and unjustified <br />crosswalk changes. <br />
