EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> FAMILY CONNCETIONS <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2002/2003 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br /> Increase number of Redwood City residents attending Family <br /> Connections form twelve to fifteen for FY 2002-2003. This will cost <br /> $4.20 per class per Redwood City family. <br /> <br /> Fift}en Redwood City families will attend Family Connections <br /> parent participation preschool, two to three days a week <br /> (depending on the site) for eleven months. <br /> <br />- Fifteen Redwood City families will participate in the Family <br /> Connections literacy program by bringing home a book bag twice a <br /> month; Family Connection will give each child books regularly for <br /> their personal libraries; and the families will be encouraged to <br /> check books out of the small Family Connections lending library. <br /> <br /> <br />
