<br />APPENDIX 1 <br /> <br />UTILITIES AND SERVICE SYSTEMS <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />FEBRUARY 27, 2006 <br /> <br />procedure that will define the problems as determined by the technical analysis, and develop a <br />series of solutions with a comparison of advantages and disadvantages. Based on the work <br />executed by the finance specialists, a similar approach will be taken for the funding of <br />alternatives. <br /> <br />Task 10 - Meetings with City Staff or EIR Consultant <br /> <br />Six meetings with City Staff or the EIR consultant are budgeted. Meetings for each utility <br />system are anticipated. The following meetings are suggested: <br /> <br />1. Kickoff meeting, which includes our funding subconsultant, Bartle Wells. At this meeting, <br />the roles and responsibilities of the project team participants will be determined. Project <br />schedule and key milestone dates will be established. Key goals and expectations of the <br />project team will be confirmed and City financing objectives will be identified. In addition, <br />any other parties, such as developers who may have a significant interest in the project, will <br />be identified. <br /> <br />2. Brainstorming session to present and discuss the water system analysis. <br /> <br />3. Brainstorming session to present and discuss the sewer system analysis. <br /> <br />4. Brainstonning session to present and discuss the stonnwater system analysis. <br /> <br />5. Review of recommended mitigation. After completion of all of the utility analyses and <br />brainstorming sessions, the resulting recommendations for mitigation will be presented to <br />City staff or the EIR consultant. Bartle Wells will also participate in this meeting to present <br />their cost and funding findings and recommendations. Funding options will be discussed. <br /> <br />6. Review and presentation of study with attendance by Bartle Wells. <br /> <br />Task 11 - Prepare Responses to Public Comment <br /> <br />After the publication of the draft EIR, responses to public comments on the utility systems will <br />be prepared and incorporated into the final ErR. <br /> <br />Task 12 - Meetings with Planning Commission and City Council <br /> <br />Attendance at two meetings each with the Planning Commission and City Council are budgeted. <br />The first meeting with the Planning Commission should be a corollary to the sixth meeting under <br />Task 10 above, where the results of the study are presented.
