6.B. - Page 109 of 366 <br />TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION (RCPSA) <br />RE: 2018 SUCCESSOR MOU NEGOTIATIONS <br />Effective the first full pay period in September 2020, employees represented by <br />the Association shall receive a two and one half percent (2.5%%)cost of living <br />adjustment. <br />In addition, effective the first full pay period in September 2020, if the City's <br />Sales Tax revenue for fiscal year 2019-20 meets or exceeds $24.5 million <br />(currently projected by the City to be $24.6 million), employees represented by <br />the Association shall receive an additional one percent (1.00%)salary increase, <br />for a total September 2020 salary increase of three and one half percent (3.5%). <br />Ef,ective with rthe -€H-St ft lac 111 Pay Pffi$d b0gi i1gg OR a cer Sopt€mber1, 2016-, <br />adjustment, <br />EfFeetive with the first full pay- period beginning after Septe eF1, '�i <br />a <br />7;) salafy <br />ad st .,« <br />7.2.2 An employee may be eligible for a salary adjustment to the next higher step above <br />the initial step or rate to which appointment was made upon the satisfactory <br />completion of six (6) consecutive months' employment. An adjustment shall be <br />made only upon the recommendation of the department head and upon approval of <br />the City Manager. <br />7.2.3 Progression of employees from the second step to the third step of the salary plan <br />may be made upon completion of a minimum period of one (1) year at the second <br />step and upon consideration of such employee's performance of duties, experience, <br />education, personal fitness for the position, and other criteria reasonably related to <br />awarding increased compensation on the basis of merit. An adjustment shall be <br />made only upon the recommendation of the department head and upon approval of <br />the City Manager. <br />7.2.4 Progression of an employee from the third step to the fourth step and the fourth <br />step to the fifth step of the salary plan will be based upon the completion of the <br />period of one (1) years' service at the respective lower step. <br />7.25 A Police Sergeant shall be placed into the Police Sergeant -Advanced salary range, <br />and a Police Lieutenant shall be placed into the Police Lieutenant -Advanced salary <br />range, when the following criteria are met: <br />Tc <br />
