6.B. - Page 145 of 366 <br />TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION (RCPSA) <br />RE; 2018 SUCCESSOR MOU NEGOTIATIONS <br />employee can perform. If none, the report should so indicate. The department routinely <br />requires periodic updating reports and these should also contain this information. <br />4819.2 An employee on extended sick leave is likewise required to provide these periodic reports, <br />which should also contain limited duty information. <br />419.3 For employees whose limited duty arrangement calls for less than the regular number of <br />hours worked per payroll period, the hours actually worked will be shown as regular time <br />on the time card and the remaining hours (the difference between hours actually worked <br />and hours normally scheduled) charged to the appropriate leave. For persons expected to <br />be on a less -than -normal schedule for more than thirty (30) days, the department will <br />initiate a personnel action form adjusting accrual rates of such work scheduled -related <br />benefits as vacation, sick leave or industrial disability as set forth in subsection 9. When <br />the individual returns to his or her regular work schedule, the department will initiate <br />another personnel action form to return accrual rates to normal; however, there will be no <br />adjustment of balances as a result of an accrual rate change. <br />4$19.4 The duty limitations specified by the treating physician must be strictly adhered to when <br />making work assignments. <br />4819.5 Limited -duty assignments should be such that there is minimum risk of further injury or <br />aggravation. <br />SECTION 4920. RETIREMENT <br />-1-920.1 Retirement Plan <br />Retirement benefits for employees hired on or before October 23, 2011, shall be those <br />established by the Public Employees' Retirement System (CaIPERS) for Local Safety <br />Members Three Percent (3%) at Age Fifty (50) Formula. <br />Retirement benefits for employees hired on or after October 24, 2011; who do not qualify <br />as "new members" under Government Code Section 7522.04(fl will be those established <br />by CAPERS for Local Safety Members, Three Percent (3%) at Age Fifty -Five (55) <br />Formula. <br />Retirement benefits for employees hired on or after January 1, 2013, and who qualify as <br />"new members" under Government Code Section 7522.04(f) will be those established by <br />CAPERS for Local Safety Members, Two and Seven -Tenths Percent (2.7%) at Age Fifty - <br />Seven (57) Formula. <br />4.920.2 Optional Provisions Added <br />Optional Public Agency Provisions under the Public Employees' Retirement System shall <br />also be provided as follows: <br />1. Effective July 9, 2007, the fourth level of Survivor Benefits as authorized by <br />Government Code Section 21574. <br />44 <br />
