6.B. - Page 168 of 366 <br />The overtime rate of pay is defined as one and one-half (1-112) times the <br />total of the employee's base rate of pay plus any premium pay, and any <br />educational incentive pay, prorated to an hourly amount, that the <br />employee receives pursuant to Section 7.4, Section 7.5, Section 7.6, <br />Section 7.8, Section 7.10 and Section 7.11 herein. Premium pay under <br />Section 7.4 includes: Police Investigators (Detectives, Juvenile <br />Detective, Street Crime Suppression Team, Vehicle Theft Task Force) <br />Narcotics Officers_(Narcotics Task Force, Drug Enforcement <br />Administration),DARE Officer Motorcycle Officer Training Premium <br />(Field Training Officers), and Police Liaisons (Downtown Resource <br />Officer PAL Officer CCAT Officer and School Resources Officer). <br />Deteeties, juvep�le Deteetia�e, NafeefieFA-Fee, n,. EftfefeemefA <br />OffieeF,cr PAL Offiee -, GGAT T n=fieer-, Field T-r-aini g offieer-S and <br />In the event that the City and the POA <br />agree to establish any additional forms of premium pay, such newly <br />created forms of premium pay will also be included in computing the <br />overtime rate of pay. <br />7.12.3 Compensatory Time <br />Upon request employees represented by the Association shall be <br />compensated for such overtime in compensatory time off to a maximum <br />accumulation of eighty (80) hours of compensatory time off. Additional <br />compensatory time may be granted, over the eighty (80) hours, upon <br />approval of the Police Chief, on a case by case basis. <br />7.13 Uniforms and Safety Equipment <br />7.13.1 The City shall furnish, at its own expense, all safety equipment required <br />by the City, consisting of service pistol, rain gear, flashlight, handcuffs, <br />PR -24 baton, soft body armor threat level IIa, leather gear to include <br />utility belt, chemical agent holder, holster, handcuff case, ammunition <br />holders, baton ring, and four (4) keeper straps. Riot helmet and <br />protective gas mask shall be provided by the City as needed. Such <br />furnished safety equipment and any and all replacements furnished by <br />the City at any time shall remain the property of and under the control of <br />the City. <br />The City will provide for all new Police Officers the following articles <br />of uniform clothing: <br />3 pairs of pants <br />3 long -sleeve shirts <br />3 short -sleeve shirts <br />1 underbelt <br />1 cold weather (non -leather) j acket with patches <br />187 <br />
