6.B. - Page 170 of 366 <br />cost for providing the employee's uniforms not to exceed one thousand <br />seven hundred dollars ($1,700)per fiscal year, per emuloyee. <br />At the end of each ���a�Tthe Finance Division will calculate the <br />vuu va vuvii <br />total cost of cleaning, altering, repairing and/or replacement of damaged <br />uniforms. This total cost will be divided by the number of Police <br />Officers who have been assigned to patrol duty during the fiscal year. <br />The time during which a Police Officer is assigned to detective duty <br />during the fiscal year shall not be factored into the calculations described <br />herein. The resulting quotient will be part of the PERS reportable <br />compensation only for those Police Officers who are classic CalPERS <br />members who were assigned to patrol duty at any time during the fiscal <br />year as determinedb CaIPERS re lations. Any classic CalPERS <br />member Officers assigned to patrol duty for less than the full fiscal year <br />will have this amount prorated based on the number of pay periods <br />assigned to patrol. <br />7.13.4 Police Officers assigned as Police Investigators and Narcotics Officers <br />Deteetives} , <br />AdfniaiStFatin shall receive a uniform allowance of thirty dollars <br />($30.00) each pay period as part of their regular paychecks for all pay <br />periods during which they are in one of the above positions. For classic <br />CalPERS members as defined by PEPRA the City will report to <br />Ca1PERS the monetary value of this uniform allowance on a semi-- <br />bi-wcckly basis. his ..m, u..... will be PERS ro o4 bl <br />7.13.45 Articles 7.13.32 and 7.1334 are mutually exclusive such that at no time <br />shall a Police Officer have his/her PERS reportable compensation <br />increased as described in Article 7.13.23 and also receive a uniform <br />allowance as described in Article 7.13.34 for the same time period. <br />7.14 Holidays <br />Effective January 1, 2012, regular full-time employees shall be entitled to take all <br />authorized holidays at full pay, not to exceed ten (10) hours, for any one (1) day, <br />provided they are in a pay status ten (10) hours, as the case may be, on both their <br />regularly scheduled workdays immediately preceding and following the holiday; <br />and provided further that original probationary employees shall be eligible for the <br />following holidays one (1) through twelve (12) below only at the straight -time <br />rate of pay during the first six (6) months of service with the City and for the two <br />(2) floating holidays noted in thirteen (13) below only upon completion of twelve <br />(12) months' service with the City. <br />The following shall be paid holidays to all employees who are covered by this <br />MOU: <br />
