6.C. - Page 2 of 7 <br />include: outreach to retain and attract businesses, implementation of the cannabis ordinance, <br />development and implementation of a Retail Action Plan, development of an Economic Development <br />Plan, and other efforts which can be seen in Attachment A. Ms. Parks provides on-site staff assistance two <br />days a week and on-call assistance as needed. <br />Staff is requesting the City Council extend Ms. Parks' contract through the end of March 2019 and increase <br />the contract amount up to an additional $60,000. This will provide continuing leadership for economic <br />development initiatives during this period. Included in the attached agreement is a detailed scope of <br />service for Ms. Parks' work. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Staff seeks to increase the current agreement with Ms. Parks by $60,000, with a total agreement amount <br />not to exceed $116,000 through the end of March 2019.
