6.B. - Page 74 of 366 <br />14.9 Cell Phone Allowance <br />Employees represented by the Association required to use their personal cell phone for City <br />business will be eligible for a cell phone allowance of one hundred J$1001 per month. <br />14.10 Other Expenses <br />Upon prior approval of the Fire Chief, the City will reimburse employees for expenses <br />incurred in performance of their assigned job duties when such other expenses are other <br />than, or in addition to, expenses based upon mileage transportation costs as provided in <br />Section 14,8, <br />14.11 Compensation for Vehicular Damage <br />The existing City policy on Use of <br />City Owned and Private Vehicles for City Business, as periodically amended, shall be <br />followed. <br />14.12 Bilingual %Premium <br />COA unit members who are routinely and consistently assigned job duties requiring bilingual <br />skills as determined by the Fire Chief are eligible to receive a two and one-half percent <br />(2.5%) pay differential for the use of bilingual skills in job duties arising during the normal <br />course of work. <br />COA unit members with advanced bilingual skills who are -routinely and consistently <br />assigned job duties requiring advanced bilingual skills as determined by the Fire Chief are <br />eligible to receive a five percent (5%) pay differential for the use of these advanced skills in <br />job duties arising during the normal course of work, Advanced bilingual skills, for the <br />purpose of the five percent (5%) pay differential shall be defined as the ability to translate <br />and communicate beyond conversational speaking and/or basic writing. Employees who <br />receive the five percent (5%) advanced bilingual differential are required, when called upon, <br />to utilize their skills citywide. <br />Eligibility for the regular or advanced bilingual pay differential shall be determined by the <br />Personnel Officer on the basis of an oral proficiency test and an oral and written proficiency <br />25 <br />93 <br />
