+7 5- set backs, lot coverage, and size should be considered. These are single family homes
so, the argument that it alleviates the housing issue don't factor in.
+1 5. There's a humongous 2 story McMansion going up just down the street from me. It's
not going to effect my property or my quality of life, but the tiny house that sits beside it is
going to be forever impacted. It's value will be heavily impacted.
+1 4. While I support a property owner's right to build a larger home than their existing one,
I think that attention should be paid to the size of the top story side easements and
proximity/size of the windows that overlook their immediate neighbors.@
4. And congrats on the coming baby!
4 1 support less restrictions for home owners but do understand some plans might be over
the top and should be considered if appropriate
4 1 can see two stories if they are two separate residences.
4, new homes need to be proportional to the neighborhood and not loom over existing
homes
S. In
order to retain lower priced homes and lower rental prices, we need to protect and preserve
the single family style homes!
5-. The larger the home, the more cars there'll be for that particular home. As nice as it would
be to have the values of our homes go up, this city just can't afford to upsize and expand any
more!
5. There are tasteful ways of adding a second story. Setback of the front outside wall is one -
its verticality can be blunted by a partial hip roof above the first level. Another way would be
to limit the width of the second story so it appears that part of the house is only one story.
