+2 1 we need housing
+2 1 Newer changes are needed to accommodate growth.
+2 1 I'm against any additional restrictions. If anything, I'm in favor of up zoning residential
neighborhoods to encourage more multi-level, multi -family buildings.
+2 1 as a homeowner I strongly oppose any laws limiting expanding my current residence
because of how some residents "feel" about it. I value your sentiment but if the expansion is
up to the building code and I do care about the neighborhood style not creating a freaking
skyscraper it should be the homeowners decision not neighbors or the city which is actually
going to be drawing additional tax property revenue from the expansion.
+2 1 - Stop the NIMBYism. There is no problem other than some people don't like change. If
people are really concerned they should buy their neighbors house to control change.
+1 1, but requiring more off street parking/garage space with the additional sf would help
the neighborhoods] Mean 1! Strongly oppose! With my prior comments.
R If the house is not Historic, owners should be able to build two stories
+1 2 should be reviewed on case by case basis
+1 2 - there should be reasonable restrictions for height, % of lot occupied, character, privacy
and potential use. Severe restrictions that limit use of land at the time of housing crisis are
unacceptable. In addition to that a large % of existing houses are two old and small per
current standards.
+1 1 A house that wouldn't cost $50k in any other state, right across from my apartment,
sold for $1.1 million. I was on the fence about Dianna Reddy until I received opposition
mailers about her saying she was going to lower the value of homes by $60k. Homes in
Redwood City are ridiculously overpriced compared to their relative value. It is not a virtue to
have POS houses worth millions.
+1 1 the bigger the house the more rooms to rent out. More cars to park in small
neighborhoods. More congestion on the roads!!
