CITY will take the lead in providing outreach and/or conducting public input meetings.
CONSULTANT has assumed no change in conceptual design approach after public
meeting and only one round of comments that are not related to design. CONSULTANT
has not assumed any time for services during advertisement, bid review and
construction.
Deliverables: 100% Design Drawings (CAD and PDF Format)
TASK 4 — LANDSCAPE PLANS (OPTIONAL)
This Task 4 may be requested at the option of the CITY at any time. CITY will receive
input from residents and, upon review of the input, will determine whether the work
under this Task 4 will be completed or not. CONSULTANT or CONSULTANT'S sub -
consultants will not proceed with Task 4 unless specifically directed by CITY.
CONSULTANT's sub -consultant Callander Associates will work with CONSULTANT to
develop a planting concept that is compatible with the site engineering while giving due
consideration to issues of sustainability and aesthetics. Because of the specialized
requirements of bioretention plantings, plant material selection criteria will be a major
determinant in developing the plan palette. Tasks performed as part of landscape plan
development include:
a. Site Visit — Visit the site to photo document existing conditions paying particular
attention to site context and adjacent land uses.
b. Soils Testing — Collect and submit on-site soils for horticultural lab analysis.
c. Draft 100% Submittal — Using grading/drainage plan prepared by CONSULTANT,
prepare a draft 100% planting plan.
d. Cost Estimate — Prepare an estimate of probable construction costs for use by
CONSULTANT in developing the overall project estimate.
e. Final 100% Submittal — Prepare final 100% plans, revising the plans per changes in
the site plan and per comments received on the draft 100% submittal.
Deliverables: Draft 100% Submittal, Cost Estimate, and 100% Planting Plan (PDF
format)
REV: 10-12-18 PR
ATTY/AGR.2018.246/BKF Engineers - Oakwood Drainage Management
