6.F. - Page 1 of 24 <br />/<;i-ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />wended 1967 <br />*A/ <br />DATE: December 3, 2018 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Sandis Civil Engineers Surveyors Planners <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional <br />Services Agreement with Sandis Civil Engineers Surveyors Planners for additional time and scope related <br />to the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior Center -YMCA Project in an amount not to exceed $18,845, for <br />an aggregate amount of $111,040 <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Community for All Ages <br />BACKGROUND <br />On November 14, 2017, the City Council approved the Professional Design Agreement with ELS <br />Architecture and Urban Design to develop the master plan for the Veterans Memorial Building/Senior <br />Center -YMCA Project. <br />On April 9, 2018, the City Manager approved a professional services agreement with Sandis Civil <br />Engineers Surveyors Planners for the project area at Red Morton Park, in the amount of $57,825 <br />following the City's purchasing ordinance selecting the lowest bidderfrom three proposals. Site survey <br />work was then completed. <br />On May 21, 2018, the City Council approved the Schematic Design for Project. <br />On August 27, 2018, the City Council approved Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br />with Sandis Civil Engineers Surveyors and Planners for the expanded time and scope that included the <br />study of additional intersections surrounding the proposed project area due to resident input on traffic <br />calming measures. <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />101 <br />
