<br />of Contractor in regard to identification and observation of vehicles utilizing <br />parking validations. <br /> <br />5. City shall have the right to independently monitor, survey, and investigate <br />utilization of parking validations in the Parking Facilities with City <br />employees. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. OFFICE AND OPERATING EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />A. Operatinq Equipment <br /> <br />City shall furnish all operating equipment to Contractor for use in operation of <br />the Parking Facilities. Operating equipment shall include, but is not limited to, <br />gate arms, automated payment stations, safe(s), fee computer software, and <br />card readers, as provided, installed and maintained by the City. <br /> <br />B. Office and Office Equipment <br /> <br />For the purpose of performing all duties and obligations required under this <br />Agreement, and for no other purpose, City shall make available to Contractor <br />space in the Jefferson Garage for an office with office equipment as needed <br />for performance of Contractor's responsibilities under this Agreement. <br />Contractor shall keep and maintain in the Garage office all of Contractor's <br />books, records and other documents relating to Contractor's performance <br />under this Agreement. Contractor shall maintain office equipment in good <br />working condition and shall be reimbursed by the City for reasonable costs <br />relating to such maintenance. <br /> <br />C. Inventory <br /> <br />1. Within five (5) days of commencing performance under this Agreement, <br />Contractor shall execute an inventory receipt for the operating and office <br />equipment furnished by City. Contractor shall take prudent and <br />reasonable care to safeguard and properly use all such equipment. <br />Contractor shall return the equipment to City in the same condition as <br />when received, with the exception of ordinary wear and tear. <br />Replacement of said equipment shall be a reimbursable expense subject <br />to prior authorization of the Parking Manager. <br /> <br />2. Except for supplies and other property that are normally used up and <br />consumed in the operation of parking garages, Contractor shall not <br />dispose of any City property without the written consent of the Parking <br />Manager. <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />
