6.A. - Page 2 of 19 <br />In addition, the final results for the ballot measures are as follows: <br />Measure RR — <br />Essential Services Protection <br />passed with 19,207 votes or 67.59% <br />Measure 00 <br />— Cannabis Business Tax <br />passed with 20,606 votes or 77.54% <br />Measure DD —Charter <br />Amendments <br />passed with 22,381 votes or 78.69% <br />The City Council is required to adopt a resolution (Attachment B) in accordance with California Elections <br />Code section 10263, and the City Clerk is required to enter into the minutes a statement of the results. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The San Mateo County Elections Office will provide an invoice for services rendered for the consolidated election <br />pursuant to an agreement between the City and the County approved on June 25, 2018. The County Elections <br />Office provided an election cost estimate of $97,800 — $117,360. This expense is included in the FY 2018-19 <br />adopted budget. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The proposed action is not a "project" for purposes of CEQA, as that term is defined in CEQA Guidelines <br />Section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or foreseeable physical change in <br />the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 hours <br />prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council can select not to adopt the resolution.
