(Buildingeye) for their
data visualization application. The application, "buildingeye", provides the public the ability to view data
on a map related to building, planning, and construction permits. For example, a resident can find an
active building permit in their neighborhood, as well as basic project details. Additionally, "buildingeye"
allows individuals to elect to receive email notification alerts of new permits for an area of interest.
ANALYSIS
The scope of work for the original agreement was in an amount below $60,000 and within the spending
authority of the City Manager. The City is now in the third year of that agreement, and anticipate that the
total cost will exceed the City Manager's authority for approval by the end of the fiscal year. Staff is seeking
the City Council's authority to approve a contract amendment to increase the contract amount.
