5. We already have tons of very expensive units, and more are coming up. Where are the lower
and middle class supposed to live?
5 But I only support it strongly if it's to use for teachers or fire fighters or other people that are
supporting the community
4. It's very challenging to find affordable employees who live with in the local area to staff small
businesses because most can't afford to live here. This means a small business news need to
increase wages And hire people who live as far away as things like Fremont which adds to
traffic, other problems. Adding affordable housing will allow small business owners to find a
local help for their stores
5 We need to do our part to meet the ever growing need for affordable housing in the Bay area.
5 - I support it. Teachers, Nurses, Librarians.... they all make below the low income levels .... they
need homes too!
4. Depending on where city owned land is.
5 of COURSE they should!!!! Low income is now $100,000 in Silicon Valley? What do people
making 35,000/year do??
5 = it's our duty to help all levels of income families. To say we should help because it's a minority
population is the mindset of elitists. We are all part of a community and as such, we should
solve for the less fortunate.
5 get rid of the immagrants, that crossed the border, breaking our laws, and quit supporting
them with county and state taxes. That would take care of a lot of the problem
5 Think globally, act locally
5 - LONG OVERDUE!!
5 - yes, if it helps make the city money and provides more affordable options sounds like a great
win
