Exhibit "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />CONSULTANT will provide PROJECT MANAGEMENT to work with the DIRECTOR OF <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES (PRCS) or his designated <br />representative, to help coordinate pre -construction activities associated with the PRCS <br />Department's Capital Improvement Projects. <br />PROJECT MANAGER working with and at the direction of the CITY shall: work with the <br />appropriate representatives of contracted architecture/design firm assigned to PRCS <br />Department projects, as needed, to prepare project/construction communication <br />protocol(s) to ensure all team members communicate effectively and all relevant <br />information and outcomes are community to CITY, its partners, architecture firm, <br />contractors, and interested stakeholders in a timely manner; receive and respond to <br />issues or concerns raised by stakeholders, including the general community, most directly <br />affected by planning and pre -construction efforts, prepare status reports or updates, as <br />requested by CITY; support CITY staff at meetings with community/stakeholders. <br />PROJECT MANAGER working with CITY staff shall participate in and facilitate public <br />outreach strategies and identify community/stakeholder sensitivities and challenges; and <br />manage stakeholders' expectations and communication. <br />During the planning period, the PROJECT MANAGER shall be the primary point of <br />contact for the architecture firm, general community, residents, and stakeholders, and <br />shall keep the CITY or its designated representative informed as issues and resolutions <br />develop. <br />1. GENERAL SERVICES REQUIREMENTS <br />1.1 The performance of all services by PROJECT MANAGER shall be to the satisfaction <br />of the CITY. <br />1.2 PROJECT MANAGER shall coordinate all services with and communications <br />between the CITY, architecture firm, contractors, separate consultants', community <br />stakeholders, and City staff, as required or directed by CITY <br />1.3 PROJECT MANAGER shall schedule and attend meetings, as necessary, or as <br />directed by CITY, in order to complete all services to the satisfaction of the CITY. <br />1.4 PROJECT MANAGER shall exercise its best professional efforts to ensure <br />attendance and participation of all appropriate project team resources at scheduled <br />meetings to assure best results and process buy -in. <br />REV: 11-16-2020 RL <br />
