EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />The Consultant shall provide sanitary sewer flow monitoring services for multiple years as part <br />of the City's annual flow monitoring program as described in Section 3 of the Agreement and as <br />described in more detail in the Table and Tasks below. <br />The Consultant shall also provide the following as part of the scope of work: <br />1. Standard Watch Manual controls and standard traffic control services for light traffic. The <br />Consultant may elect to work at off-peak or night time hours at no additional cost to the <br />City. <br />2. Pay for City business license (No other City permit fees are expected or required as part <br />of the work). <br />Table 1 - Flow Monitoring Equipment and Associated Season: <br />Flow Monitoring Season <br /># of Flow Meters <br /># of Rain Gau es <br />2018/2019* <br />40 <br />4 <br />2019/2020 <br />111 <br />2 <br />2020/2021 <br />10 <br />2 <br />2021/2022 <br />10 <br />2 <br />*During the 2018/2019 Flow Monitoring Season, additional coordination with the City's Master <br />Planning consultant is required at no additional cost to the City. <br />Consultant shall install the flow monitoring equipment as listed in Table 1 above during the <br />associated flow monitoring season. Flow monitoring locations shall be determined by the City <br />prior to Task 1. Rain gauge locations shall be determined and coordinated by both the City and <br />the Consultant. <br />The City will assist the Consultant with the following for installation of the equipment: <br />1. Secure access to available City own sites or properties for installation of the rain gauges. <br />2. Share any known information concerning bypasses, overflows, base flows, critical <br />surcharge areas, and maintenance habits. <br />Consultant shall notify the City of the following flow monitoring site issues within one (1) <br />business day (another flow monitoring site shall be determined and coordinated by both the City <br />and the Consultant, If these issues are not resolved): <br />1. Access to the flow monitoring site is not sufficient or available. <br />2. Sewer line is too dirty and/or filled with debris that installation of flow meter is not <br />possible. <br />Task Description <br />Task 1. Perform field reconnaissance and document review: <br />Consultant shall review available plans and documents, and conduct field <br />reconnaissance of the proposed flow monitoring sites identified by the City. The <br />reconnaissance shall assess hydraulic conditions, manhole access, traffic control <br />requirements, and safety issues for each site.
