5 Great idea! The more transit options the better (plus my kids would flip their lids for this!)
5 absolutely IF building restrictions are removed and the area is allowed to grow and thrive.
We should optimize ALL resources and modes of transportation
5 Along w shuttle service from downtown a competitively -priced ferry would be a welcome
alternative to driving, train or BART.
4. This could get lots of cars off the road, and offer some convenient options for those who live
bayside. Not every transit route needs to originate
4 - I like the idea of a more robust ferry service and RWC to SF is a good first leg. The ferry
needs to be fed by transport options including a shuttle from downtown to be most useful.
5. Why are we still asking this question. Yes. Yes. Yes. Provide the service and it will be well
used.
5 I'd give it a 6 if I could. With our terrible traffic, and having the bay right here, I see no reason
not to add another way to get to SF.
5 It would be fantastic to be able to get some cars off the road!
5 it could free up some traffic if it is affordable and environmentally friendly. Caltrain is too
slow and inconvenient at times
4 Yes, if the ferry also stopped in the east bay and was connected to the RWC Caltrain station
and an east bay Bart station somehow. Also school buses would help alleviate traffic!!
S. Would love an alternative to get to SF. Could take this to the giants games
5. Would like it to go to Oakland too.
5 support. Redwood City should be coordinating shuttle service with major employers in the
area like that which is being done (in Mountain View)with Google, Microsoft, etc.
