H 3 why not this state is already taxing us to death might as well add more gas and
transportation costs for a big trip that will be half full be it takes too long
+1 3 - don't care, as long as *NO* taxpayer $$ are involved. (I personally used to love San
Francisco and now avoid it, but could see that a ferry might be a useful option for those who
work up there.)
3. Why not? Oh, wait, even more taxes 1 bet.
Largely depends on the cost per leg of journey
3 A mode of transportation for the wealthy.
What are the enviromental impacts on the bay?
3 1 support the plan in principle but if it would take funding away from other critical projects, 1
would want reassurance about accessibility and convenience in order to predict regular
usage.
3. It seems the opponent argument could be mitigated by providing a bus shuttle to Sequoia
Station and the train station there.
3 love the idea but dont know cost, viability of use, or other details
3 or 4. It seems like a great idea, but how would people get from downtown Redwood City to
the port? Wouldn't a lot of brand new infrastructure have to be developed for that?... I guess
maybe frequent shuttle runs....
It would be more convenient if they had a shuttle bus to the ferry
3 It depends on the amount/quality of transportation to and from the ferry. I can't imagine it
being very useful if people have to drive and park for it, that seems like it would just take up a
lot of space and increase congestion on Seaport. On the other hand, I like the idea of another
mode of transportation.
