6.D. - Page 133 of 170 <br />CONTRACTOR shall notify the Project Manager (Construction and Maintenance <br />Supervisor or his/her designee) at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to starting <br />the work required by the Contract. <br />If CONTRACTOR, after having officially started said Contract work, should <br />discontinue work for any reason, CONTRACTOR shall first notify the Project <br />Manager (Construction and Maintenance Supervisor or his/her designee) in <br />writing of CONTRACTOR's intent to do so, and shall further notify the Project <br />Manager (Construction and Maintenance Supervisor or his/her designee) in <br />writing of the date of re -starting operations. <br />K. All work shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Project Manager <br />(Construction and Maintenance Supervisor or his/her designee). Work will be <br />considered complete only when signed off by the Project Manager (Construction <br />and Maintenance Supervisor or his/her designee). Work shall be performed to <br />the specifications as determined by the CITY. <br />L. Failure to comply with any requirement contained herein may result in <br />suspension of work without extension of the Contract. <br />M. The Project Manager (Construction and Maintenance Supervisor or his/her <br />designee) must approve any request for sub -contracting of work prior to such <br />subcontracting. <br />N. Contractor shall provide equipment and personnel for all tasks. <br />3.2 SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR: <br />A. Construction and renovation of building structures found in public park facilities <br />such as recreation centers, childcare facilities, field restrooms, concession <br />buildings, shade structures, bathhouse buildings, bridges, multi —purpose <br />buildings, field houses and community centers. Provide and install pre -fabricated <br />offices, restrooms, concession buildings, storage buildings and field houses. <br />Work will include, but not be limited to, demolition, hazardous material survey <br />and abatement, wood framing, masonry walls, concrete walls, footings and slabs, <br />ceramic tile work, stucco, drywall, plastering, structural steel and rigging, toilet <br />room accessories and partitions, cabinetry, painting, millwork, vinyl, ceramic tile, <br />carpet, associated plumbing, electrical and mechanical work, provide design, <br />engineering and permits for existing and new park restrooms in to the <br />Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and bring facilities into compliance with <br />ADA. <br />SECTION 4 - SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CITY <br />4.1 CITY personnel will work cooperatively with the CONTRACTOR to ensure timely <br />approvals of all items required under this Contract. <br />4.2 CITY will promptly act, review, and make decisions as necessary to permit the orderly <br />progress of this work. <br />SECTION 5 - INSPECTION <br />5 <br />216 <br />
